About
My name is Morgan Lee Stoner. I’m a 27-year-old Returned Peace Corps Volunteer currently residing in London, England!
After finishing my Peace Corps service as a Community HIV Outreach worker in rural Mpumalanga, I decided I wasn’t ready to leave South Africa. After a short stint in Pretoria, I found a gig at a privately-funded NGO in Port Elizabeth. In total, I ended up in South Africa for over 4.5 years.
After a few delays, I’ve just started my MSc in Global Health and Development at UCL in London and I can’t wait to share all about this experience!
Quick facts about Morgan:
I graduated from the University of Miami (Fla.) in 2013 with a B.S. in Communications.
I’m originally from St. Louis, Missouri but I spent the 4 years before Peace Corps in Miami (my driver’s license may say I’m from Florida, but I’m a Midwesterner through and through).
I’m a vegetarian; I’ve seen every episode of Modern Family at least three times; I love dogs, hate mosquitoes; and I believe that together we can change the world.
